Season 3 Discussion... Contains Spoilers for 1-2 (3 as it airs)

Well I have no idea about the place it must be a US chain.

I don't think them walking about covered in blood was over the top. I think it was deliberate.

We've seen lately how viscious werewolves can be and we always think of vamps as elegant/strong. I think this was a deliberate reminder, a visual one, of how viscious they can be. I can't imagine it being anything but bloody. They haven't shown too many attacks by vamps so as I said I think this was a hey they're not cuddly you know.

Speaking of werewolves, they don't seem to be a real threat so far. Hopefully that'll change, but for right now, they don't seem to ever pose a threat to any vampires.

I was interested in the Alpha male saying they'd served Russell for centuries. More like guard dogs then.

Maybe they'll get fed up of the vamps and turn ugly

I didn't mind the vicious attack, but the walking around afterwards was just overkill to me especially the king. I know he's evil to the core, but I thought he had table manners at least. I'm so excited about next week. I wish I could see into the future.

It was gooooood and I'm not just saying that cuz I got to see Alcide's bare ass... Lmao! There were so many funny parts, mainly Franklin's silk jammies & Eric's "I'll rip your head off & throw it in the pool."

Yes, Mirishka usually waits until Friday to watch True Blood, but when i told her about the wolfie's bare ass, she said she was going to download it tonight. He is fine and gorgeous. Why can't I get into him? I knew he was going to be super hot the first time I saw him, but no tingles. Eric - lots and lots of tingles. Queen does not impress me. I gave her a chance. Oh wait! I think that's the whole reason why we didn't think much of her. She's supposed to be a joke of a leader. I'm just now realizing that. Duh Cougarbelle!!!! Am I so wrong to not be a Sookie lover? Why isn't she trying to develop her powers or at least try to figure out what they are instead of just waiting for it to jump out of her hand when she's being attacked? Damn Tara!!! I felt kind of bad for the guy. I know he's crazy but still he just loves her. Is that so wrong?

So I came online earlier than I thought to add my thoughts.

Damn Eric was hot in that episode although the flirting with Russell left me cold. I loved when he threatened to rip the Queens head off, lloved how easily he picked her up.

Laughed at Talbolt, people being killed and fighting breaking out and he's worried about the ceiling.

Jason story line, please just stop it. I'm guessing Crystal is a werewolf.

Sam plot don't care.

Tara, OMG girl make me cringe ripping out Franklins throat. You just know she should have cut his head off, he'll heal and be after her. His PJ's were rather awful !

I felt kinda sorry for Leonora although her obviously put on accent was grating me. Bill not too bothered.

Do you have to love Sookie to be a fan? See I don't know about anyone else but I made the mistake of noticing her mouth, she always seems to be sneering to me and her self righteousness is a pain, I'm glad Tara left her and tried to escape. She prevoked Eric and was surprised when he reacted. I'm sorry but Anna is turning quite ugly to me. Watch the shape of her mouth, it's not pretty plus I would have expected her to be a bit more savvy after 2 years dealing with vamps.

Yeah, the amount of time that has passed question, I think, Sam answered that few weeks ago when she questioned the amount of time herself. I've never thought she was very pretty, and it's her mouth that makes me think that.

I don't think it's weird. I think you're right on target with that opinion. I also don't see why she can't get the gap fixed. The kind of money she makes, teeth should look perfect.

The teeth gap doesn't bother me, Madonna has the same thing. It's the way her lips curl they sneer all the time.

I'm in the massive minority but I don't and have never really minded Sookie and/or Anna Paquins portrayal of her. As far as the timeline goes, this has really only been like three months or so. Think about it, we've been in the same day/night for the past couple of episodes. Every episode usually picks up right where the last one left off. I always catch myself wishing Tara would do something with het hair other than those damn braids, then I remember the timeline.

I feel pretty confident that more will be done with my beloved Alcide because I read on imdb that Joe M. has been promoted to series regular. All I have to say to that is 'Ah sooky sooky now!!!' Lol, I've been waiting since we started talking about this show to say that!

You get me wrong, I don't dislike Anna or Sookie it's purely the woman's mouth I dislike.

I wished she was stronger but as you pointed out it's easy to forget the time line is short and not in years.

I hope Alcide does get a bigger ... okay role *gigglesnort* I can see Sookie having an affair with him over Eric. I think she is a strong character and Eric wouldn't let her be so strong yet Alcide I can see letting her be who she needed to be. In a good way.

Ah! She is irritating me these days. I don't know why. She just does. Maybe I'll like her next week.

This is a bit more general discussion but since it has to do w/Season 3 here it is... Who do you think (if any) Tara should end up with? She had a major crush on Jason, hooked up with Sam for a bit, supposedly found 'the love of her life' in Eggs (guess he's kinda out of the running though, lol) and now has Shoney's-boy Franklin.


Personally, I think her & Sam should have another go. And btw, if I was her, and was running through the woods & Alcide stopped me like that, you woulda heard tires squealing and me quickly back-pedaling & forgetting all about what I was doing in the first place, lol!
