I've never watched Southland I confess. Is it any good?

I kinda started it on a whim but am glad I did. It's a very intense, sometimes dark LA cop show. I love Regina King in everything so I'm glad I finally get to see her in something steady. I'm like 2 episodes into the 3rd season which is good and bad. Good b/c I'm almost caught up, bad b/c the 4th season doesn't start till like forever!!!!! Well, on the bright side, at least they HAVE a 4th season!

Southland is brilliant a friend in the USA (not Sam this time ) put me onto the show saying it was as realistic a tv cop show about LA as you will ever get. It's like a modern day Hill Street Blues but in LA.

Acting is great as Sam as Regina King is fantastic. The characters aren't always cute and loveable like some shows so we watch it without fail. Definitely catch up if you can.

In the UK we have shown 2 seasons but I watch it online. Then I sit through it again with hubby, lol. I can't wait for anything to show in the UK !

Yeah, I got everyone at my place watching it too! I'm going through withdrawal though.. haven't watched it in like a week and probably won't be able to again until next week!

I haven't seen an episode since April !!!!! I did go "NOOOOOO" but that would be a spoiler.

I only know one spoiler and good god am I dreading it now!

Cryptic for those out there not seen Southland season 3. She's referring to a major spoiler she told ME about when I was watching it which I didn't want to know Sam just saw the episode with it in and despite knowing what was going top happen she didn't like to watch it.

So I finally watched the next 2 episodes last night! LOL! I think I only have four more before I'm completely caught up. Then it's the long wait to January, lol!

Love Southland going to watch the last season again with hubby starting this week.

Hmm... ok, yes, I did catch up on all of Southland. Very good indeed!

I've also started watching Raising Hope on and off. It's cute but isn't like a do or die kinda of thing. I've also caught up on the episodes of Modern Family I missed. Man, that show is so friggin funny! I know it's kinda more an American type of humor, but I just love it to pieces.

Umm, what else... I watched the first two episodes of The Good Wife. It's entertaining I think I will keep watching it. I'm probably gonna wait till the next off season though cuz there's too much to catch up on right now. Also (and please keep the laughing to a minimum) once Netflix starts streaming the CW shows, I am going to try a few episodes of The Vampire Diaries. A friend of mine (who I recently got hooked on Dexter and True Blood and was one of the people who urged me to start Supernatural) has been begging me to do so.

We have season 3 of Southland recorded for hubby to watch I'll probably re-watch it with him, great show.

Raising Hope is okay, easy to watch etc etc. I like 2 Broke Girls. I'm getting bored with HIMYM.

I LOVE The Good Wife, it gets better and better. I watched one episode of Vampire Diaries and realised it wasn't for me, age thing I think. Watching An American haunting, spooky for sure.

Ok, so here it goes.... I actually like The Vampire Diaries! LMAO, I know, I know... but you know what, it's kind of like a True Blood deal. You know, Sookie & Bill are pretty much the front runners but you don't really watch it for them, it's all the other ensemble characters. And whoa, there is this one guy that's on there... crazy hot! I was trying to figure out where I saw him before and he's actually in Lady Gaga's You & I video. There's also another character that I find very attractive but whoa nelly, he's a youngster!!

Homeland is a great show though you need to pay attention so if you're distracted wait a bit.

In other words, Sam, don't watch this right now cuz you're attention span isn't worth a damn! LMAO, nah but really, it looks kind of interesting. I'm gonna try to check out American Horror Story (Dylan McDermott = yum!) but I'm prob gonna wait a bit.

It's really good, last weeks scared the pants of me. Well it was Halloween and I was in the dark watching it on my own. It is scary but good !!! I actually think Dylan Dermott is the worse character on the show.

Guess who is in it. Russell the Vamp King from TB.

Yeah I heard his character is a weepy mess, lol! Whatever, still some eye candy. Speaking of, I know Sylar was on an episode too but ugh, saw what happens. And yeah, I saw Russell in one of the commercials too.
