Re: The TV Topic
I've heard of Shameless. I adore William H. Macy but don't think it'll be the show for me. Pus, I don't get Showtime anymore, lol! What's Skins?
It's too bad it doesn't translate cuz Modern Family is amazing! Isn't it funny how that happens? Oh well, I know there's oodles of British shows like that for us too. It's like, you can sit & explain it, but it just doesn't click in the same way.

Oh! I thought you were giving me a lecture at first. That's how a lot of mine starts.

Re: The TV Topic
LOL! I read that James Marsden (Cyclops from the X-Men movies) is gonna be a new neighbor for Cam & Mitchell & Matt Dillon's gonna be on at some point as Claire's ex-boyfriend. Phil should be hilarious in that episode!!
Re: The TV Topic
Oh! Phil is always amazing. I like him better as the dad in this show than in what was it called? Anyways, I love William H. Macy too. I laughed my butt off in that movie ?Wild Hogs? with John Travolta, Tim Allen, and Martin Lawrence, and he's good at straight stuff too.

Re: The TV Topic
William H. Macy is just so dang likeable! You know he's married to Felicity Huffman (blonde from Desperate Housewives)? Cute couple.
The dude who plays Phil is extremely talented! I loved him (but hated him too) in the Dawn of the Dead remake. That show, was it the one with Kelsey Grammer? Back to You, I think? I only saw one episode but yeah, he plays Phil perfectly.

Re: The TV Topic
I like William H Macey, Shameless was set in a bleak part of England, it revolves around a drunk and a bunch of thieving kids. Not my idea of entertainment. Skins was a program for teens I think but it might be like Misfits.
I think if you're concentrating a show on a way of life it only works where that's the norm. They adapted The Office okay because well, an office is an office.
Being Human is another you're getting which is just stupid. A ghost, werewolf and vampire all living together in an apartment ... no thanks.

Re: The TV Topic
Being Human? That sounds dumb but with the right writers, it might make me giggle. It sounds like it would be better suited as a movie though. Don't see how that will work as a long running thing without getting ridiculous.
Re: The TV Topic
It sounds like something that would be on Nickelodeon or cartoon network.

Re: The TV Topic
I saw the Robot Chicken Star Wars thing and laughed a bunch but can't remember anything I laughed at, lol!
Venture Brothers, Metalocolypse... the names are crazy. The only thing I watch in there is Family Guy reruns.

Re: The TV Topic
That's starting coming on Adult Swim too and I'm gonna try to watch it. I saw half an episode once and was like whatever but I love Seth McFarlane so I figure it's gotta be at least mildly entertaining.
Re: The TV Topic
I'm not sure what Teen Swim is but Adult Swim is what the tv channel Cartoon Network turns into after 22:00. It basically still plays cartoons, just more risque & mature ones.
Re: The TV Topic
What's that about? Never heard of it...
Fringe, I'm sorry... Bangs, is coming back on this Friday!!! I'll probably wait & watch it on Hulu but guess who's gonna be a guest star... Christopher Lloyd!!! YEAHHH!!!! I haven't seen Doc Brown in forever, thought he retired or something!!!

Re: The TV Topic
I remember that coming on Nick at Nite but never actually watched the show. Judd Hirsch, Tony Danza & Danny Devito, right?
Re: The TV Topic
YAY, Bangs, cool CL is very funny.
Lights Out is weird because it has the SOA feel in that it's well made a good plot etc etc but its about a subject matter which I would go nah. It's about a World Champion Boxer who retires and is forced back into the ring. It is actually good.
YAY White Collar was back this week, I have so much to catch up on.

Re: The TV Topic
Oh duh, you know, as soon as I started reading your post I knew exactly which show it was! My bro was saying the same thing, he watches a gazillion shows!
Re: The TV Topic
I only looked at it because Kurt recommended it and I though mmm might be okay.
How is your brother, better now?
