Season 2 Discussion... Contains Spoilers for 1 (2 as it airs)

It's on tonight, y'all!!!!! The Season 2 premiere starts in about (glances at clock) 2.5 hours. I'm pretty sure it's 90 min long too, SCORE!!! As I mentioned in another unrelated topic, I watched the entire first season today so I am all in the zone, lol! That part in the previews with them on the interstate looks tense! Ok, another big thing; what in the world did Jenner whisper to Rick?!?!?! This might be a massive stretch but maybe he somehow knows Lori is preggers. LOL, IDK, it just seems like that'd def be something to bring up the whole mess with Shane. But really, I don't think you can gather that info from taking someone's blood, lmao!!! Ah well, we shall see....

You know what sucks though, both Dexter and this show come on at the same time on Sundays! Damn, why can't one come on at 9 and the other at 10???? Thank goodness for On-Demand though! I will just have to watch Dexter on Monday nights cuz I don't think The Walking Dead is on there (I know last year it wasn't and if I missed an episode I was stuck looking for a link online like some damn foreigner! LMAO!!!!!! j/k!!!!!!!)

It airs in the UK on Friday, hubby wants to watch so I will watch it with him then but we can catch up if you remember by then !

I've not seen any previews, I know can you believe it but with everything going on it's just been impossible.

Now I just have to remember how it ended !!!

The bit on the highway was very tense! I held my breath I must say.

I am in awe at the make up team. The zombie that got into the mobile home you got a real good look at him. It was flawless.

Talking of zombies ... I love this video and cant stop watching it. As a big fan of tattoos, these are awesome.

Well... I am sorry to say folks but I think I am going to give The Walking Dead the Supernatural treatment cuz last Sunday's episode pretty much did me in. Can you say boring? And how about completely wasting valuable screen time on totally dumbass ideas? Yup, I'm gonna hold off and watch a couple of episodes at once cuz I can't take this crap. I'm really hoping the season gets back on track but for now, adios!

Well I found the second episode yawning. I couldn't give a fig about the kid and find his mother is a drag.

I find myself not as impatient to see it as last year but as Sam says hopefully it will pick up.

Completely agree ladies. I did quite like the herd of zombies on the motorway scene in the first ep, but I guess the rest of it was pretty yawn-tastic.

There have been odd bits in the next two episodes that were good, but yeah - I want them to focus less on marriage issues and more on smushing zombie head

Yep the soapy side is showing and it does show that the writers are different from last season.

So... has it gotten any better? I didn't watch last week's episode and, wouldn't you know it, it's supposedly a very Darryl-centric episode! Just my luck, lol! I'll prob watch it this Sunday though.

I saw it and that's as far as I've gotten. It was better in parts but I'm starting to get more bored with certain people as they concentrate on the "soap" side, give me more zombies.

Okay now I know I have said this over and over. But ! Is it only me that thinks well how did this all start ? Why are there no zombie like animals ? Why did Rick come join the group after escaping that hospital and NOT ask WTF is happening? Oh is it me or is Rick grating this season ?

I'd watch it when you have time, might lead to more happening but for me the change in writers has been a mistake.

Rick is a gigantic wet blanket as far as I'm concerned (and that's saying something cuz I'm always a sucker for the 'heroes'). I haven't seen the last two episodes. I planned on watching them this weekend but then I made other plans so I'll get to them sometime during the holiday. I agree about the writing so far though... in the words of Vivian from Pretty Woman "BIG mistake, HUGE!"

I watched an episode the other day that was very Daryl-centric. It was pretty awesome and had some of the tension and brilliance that showed through in the first series.

Daryl is by far my favourite character this series. Sure, he is a red-neck, but he is there red-neck.

Yes Madnad that episode was one of the better ones for sure this season. I like Daryl, I think he's developed more since last season but saying that it was good to see him having hallucinations about his brother and the true "red neck" coming out.

Did anyone watch the season 2 second premiere or whatever you want to call it on Sunday? Honestly, I almost forgot it was on, lmao!!! I watched it though. DIdn't cover a lot of new ground but it was pretty good. Renee from True Blood!!!! Gone to soon, lol. Good thing though, cuz I was thinking that kind of storyline would get real old real quick. And OMFG, can we just kill off Lorie and call it a day?!?! What a dumbass!!!!!!

LOL, I watched it but it was like "come on get off the farm and do something". It's a little boring too emo for me compared to last year but I will carry on and hope it gets better.
