LOL, thanks!

Did you guys see they got a trailer for the Xmen prequel movie? It actually doesn't look bad. When I first heard about it, I wasn't too thrilled but it might actually be good.

Yeah, I read that somewhere. I think Darren Aronofsky might be directing it...?

X-Men First Class - Absolutely superb, and pisses all over Last Stand (which was awful). I really enjoyed the little cameo that Hugh got as Wolverine especially but the lovely Michael Fassbender really stole the show.

Wolverine II - yes, there is a Wolverine II coming next year I believe. Its now being directed by James Mangold (Knight & Day, Walk The Line), since Darren Aronofsky walked. Its called 'The Wolverine' (imaginative I know), and time line wise, it follows Wolverine Origins and is prior to X-Men.

I didn't mind Wolverine only from the point of view we finally got answers to what happened to him. I think they might be stretching the franchise a bit with another film.

I saw Wolverine in the theater and haven't seen it since. Honestly, kid only reason I'd rewatch it is to see the several actors I fancy. It just didn't really do much for me story wise.

Yeah I have to admit that was the major reason but I think it's being squeezed to death for the sake of money. I would expect Jackman to have more integrity but maybe he needs the cash LMAO

I can see your point. I think that for the fans who only know Wolverine from the films they are probably more interested in the story going forward. However, X-Men has been an extremely popular comic for over 40 years now, and Wolverine has always been a big fan favourite with many solo comic series, so I guess Hollywood feel that there is plenty to work with.

He is actually a very complex character. One of the first mutants, he story goes back a long way, and he is way older than he looks. There are big chunks of his past that he is completely unaware of, due to the amnesia he experienced.

That aside, if nothing else, its a great excuse to see the delightful Hugh running about being all alpha male in a vest Drooling Trio

Yes I agree he is definitely one of the more interesting characters in X-Men but the scripts are weak. It seems that a lot of actors rarely hold out for a decent script or the studio's don't say tweak this it's weak to the writers. In the end you get a movie that gets slated especially by the fans.
