I got a new video.

Well I tried all four of the songs I wanted with this video and WMG (Warner Media Group) denied audio to them all so I put a different Lisa Gerrard track to the video as she seems to have gone down well with viewers on the last one. I really wanted you to be honest and say what you thought of it.

Now this is The End, season 5 so I shall have to spoiler it but I used different techniques during the actions sequences.

Alrighty, not sure if you guys just didn't like it or are too nice to say you didn't get what I was doing (both of which are cool; everyone's entitled to their own opinion) but can I get a little feedback either way? I want to put it on my lj page but want to wait if there's some glaringly obvious stuff to fix that you guys noticed that I did not. I have to re-export it cuz I don't want the widescreen bars on there but other than that, what do you think?

Oops sorry Sam. I meant to comment. I'll have to watch it again now. I do remember that Sam was a V, and Dean had to do something about it. Right?

Okay, maybe he turned into Lucifer, but I was looking at it as someone who didn't know the show but was just seeing the video. I got the happy at first, then the transformation, then the kill, and then Dean by himself, and I could feel the emotion. I liked that you didn't just go crazy with effects with the stills but chose really good ones. It was really sad. I think it was more sad this time around than before. It's good. Maybe only thing would be to have the seat in the Impala next to Dean blaringly empty if you could figure a way how to do that to match's Dean's emptiness inside. Does that make sense? But that's just an idea, not necessary because you got the emotion across.

I like the story a little AU having Dean hunt Sam down.

The music was very good, did you increase the colour and brightness on some of the stuff later seemed very warm and bright.

I liked the angst which you built up slowly then had Dean almost appear to hunt Sam down. I never felt he was happy about it so I think it really worked.

I didn't like the rocking images at the start but that's because I get travel sickness and that's similar I did like the look of them just not the movement. I did like the black and white to show the past though.

I thought the comments fair but it so much harder to convey anything in stills as there's no movement or audio so it'll be harder to cut it back or maybe I need to be more creative.

My head hurts at the thought of it, LMAO

Stills are good and bad. For any kind of movement/action, you're pretty much stuck with one or two options. On the other side, you can keep a still in the shot as long as you need. You'll see when you start working with video, you'll need a shot to last like an extra 10 frames and it just isn't there. So then you're forced to either cut early, slow the action down (which doesn't work if you are doing something fast paced) or finding a new shot altogether.
