Looks good, we get the day before the US huh? Looking forward to it.

I was not feeling Conan at all until this trailer came out, and now I'm totally on the Conan is hot bandwagon. Still think Khal Drogo has him beat, but we'll see.

Khal Drogo is kinda boring me, mainly because he don't speak no English, lol! Although I guess that's not exactly the worst thing...

No I hate that blue stuff and his beard tied up like that. Conan is more appealing to me.

Yes I like a beard but not massive thing. I also think Khal's hair is girly and I'd tell him.

but he's not afraid of being put on his back either. He was like a little puppy when Dany took control and followed whatever direction she gave.

Oh! i wasn't talking about the sex. I was talking about his persona. He's supposed to come off very brutal the first few episodes so we know just what a badass he is. There's another side of him too which we have started seeing like in episode before when he and Dany are talking about the baby.

Anyway, Yeah I get the whole badass thing but even still, let's see some more of the badass. He was all big & bad for like two seconds. Does he have fight scenes?

Cougar he hasn't said anything yet. I think I need him to be a badass more than soppy, he's a warrior do warriorishy things.

I was not a part of that conversation. I saw the pics and did not feel it was appropriate making lasciviuous comments about that particular scene since it was coming off as so brutal. It was nothing like that in the book, painful yes but not brutal. I didn't feel the overwhelming need to lecture others either. Whew!!

He actually does have a couple of really big, badass scenes coming up. There isn't a lot of fight scenes, but Jason approached TPTB about his action experience and it seemed a waste to not use it, and they made up a fight scene just for him which is supposed to be exceptionally brutal.

Cool be great to see that side of the character.

Yeah. I was thinking every time I come back. Hhhhmmmmm..... We should probably switch this convo to the Drogo thread. Oh well... I guess we can just make sure next time to go there for the Drogo drag talk.

Finally got around to watching this recently. Mmm. Have to say, Jason's undeniable hotness aside, it was a but pants.

The dialogue was weak and appeared that its only purpose was to serve to join the battle sequences together. The battles were epic and well filmed, but the story seemed to have been neglected.

Conan's character had no depth, Tamara was annoying, and Rose Mcgowan's Marique was just plain disturbing with its incestual overtones.

I am sorry to say that I wish I had watched the Arnie version instead

Yeah I will wait for it to be free and I understand why people have bought it I'm sorry but I won't part with £10 for it either.
