I don't know I think it could be okay no worse than Clash of the Titan ( btw, IMDB says he's doing Wrath of The Titans Rolling Eyes

) It looks like it could be okay but maybe your concern is the amount of CG! in it, mine would be Micky Rouke. I think depending on reviews I'd watch it but maybe not in the cinema.

There are so many things wrong with this whole project it makes me want to pull my hair out.

First, casting Henry Cavill as Superman. Now, I really enjoyed him in Tudors and have no problems at all with him as an actor, but he is just not right for this role. He just doesnt have the right build, and he is not tall enough ( he is a measly 6'1").

And Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent OverReaction

And to make it worse, Russell Crowe as Jor-el !!! OverReaction

He already crucified one of my heroes (Robin Hood - or "how many accents can Russell do").

The cherry on the cake of disaster has to be Zack Snyder... I just dont like his style of direction. All that weird speed up-slow down stuff is just annoying. I enjoyed it in '300' but when he crow bars this into EVERY film, it smacks of a one-trick pony.

I really dont know why they couldn't have stuck with Brandon Routh. Even Tom Welling would have been a better choice, one quite popular with fans of the franchise I understand.

It is a damn shame that Joe Manganiello didnt get time away from True Blood to screen test for this, as I know Snyder was interested. At least he has the man of steel physique and stature which is an essential part of the role.

I honestly truly am gutted, as I adore Superman, really I do. I just dont know if I can sit through this monstrosity

Maybe they will make henry bulk up much like Christ H did for Thor.

OMG I tried watching Robin Hood with Russell Crowe after 10 minutes I gave up. I kept shouting, where the feck are you from how? NOT from the right region that I can tell you.

I know! LOL. One minute he sounded Yorkshire, then Liverpudlian, there was a bit of Irish, Scottish, Australian and I am quite convinced, a bit of Cockney too.

I cant say that I am that much of a fan of his to be honest. I think the only film I liked him in was Gladiator. scratch

Yeah I loved that film, Master & Commander was okay but again his accent was wonky through out. The only film I have seen him in that was almost as good as Gladiator was LA Confidential, brilliant film.

I am glad they kept the muted colour tones used in Superman Returns, as I liked that. It also looks textured, rather than smooth lycra. It looks like his suit contains a certain amount of padding too. All they need to do now is ensure that all the rest of the cast are no taller than 5'10", and he might be able to pull this off.

He also seems to be wearing Thor's cape Wink

LOL, but why does Superman need to be tall? It would make sense to be average height would make Clarke Kent easier to fit in with everyone else.
