Season 3 Discussion... Contains Spoilers for 1-2 (3 as it airs)

I know right! I think Dexter has made us uber sensitive to stuff like that on any show that has crime/murder on it, lol!

I am going to watch last night's episode tonight. Sam I know you've got a ton of stuff going on until next week so I'm sure we'll chat when you've had time to catch up.

The hiatus is a year but Kurt Sutter says there will be web episodes or something like that as a buffer between seasons. I have a bad feeling these web episodes will be US available only.

They might be, but there'll be some way to watch them. Somebody will repost them or something...

Did you feel slighted at all that as a viewer Sutter kept us in the dark about the clubs agreement? All along we were asked to have sympathy for Jax and his decisions etc etc etc. Then we find the other knew all along. Not sure about the ending to be honest but I shall watch it again in a few months and think about it again.

Do you think that was the last we'll see of Unser? They'll probably begin season 4 with a time jump, the guys getting out of prison and charming in the grips of Hale and the police from out of state. With the bombshell Tara faces knowing that or at least suspecting that Clay and Gemma killed John Teller do you think they'll concentrate on just one or two story lines or many?

Huge YAY's go out for Katey Segal nominated for a Golden Globe, glad to see she and the show beginning to get some recognition.

I totally don't mind being kept in the dark about the club's 'Jax's a rat' knowledge b/c without, there would have been no tension. I only hate when they do stuff like that when you have characters triple & quadruple crossing each other... then it gets a little ridiculous.

I think they'll probably only trickle out stuff about Gemma & Clay's possible involvement with John's death throughout the season, to keep good stuff for any upcoming seasons. If this does stay on the Hamlet track, that seems like last season territory to me.

True but it's a huge secret that once revealed would pull apart the club, it was always there but now its being dragged to the fore.

I am not going to read back on this thread as season 3 just started in UK last night. I had to record the midnight repeat tho, as it clashed with something else I watch, so will hopefully catch up this weekend.

What, I missed it and hubby wanted to see it. What channel was it on ?

I have found it airing for the first time on 5 USA and 5 USA + 1 next Tuesday night is it on another channel. I'm confused 2 channels showing it?

I think 5 USA +1 is the one we recorded it from (at 11pm not midnight as I wrote above ) . The +1 channel is the same as the regular channel, just everything is an hour later, which was handy for us as its original airtime clashed with two other things we watch and my sky plus can only tape 2 things at once.

I watched it last night and BLOODY HELL!

Okay I think we have set the Sky + to record the first episode repeat as the next episode is on the following night, phew only just saw that then. Thanks Madnad !

Yeah we are talking about season 3 Madnad just watched the opening episode where Hale gets run over.

Oh holy crow, my mouth dropped at that scene!!!!!! I was like WtF!?!?!?!?!?!?!? I actually really liked that character, thought he added a nice balance. But hey, who knows... I wonder if that's where/how Rockmond Dunbar's character in the new season will come into play...

I deliberately didn't listen to the Comic Con panel as I wanted no spoilers this year. I miss Hale, did he leave because he wanted to?

It frustrates me that there is such a long time here between series. I'm sure it's probably the same amount of time as you guys but with SOA & season 3 just being shown when it's 2 months from season 4 being shown I'd never chat to my US friends about tv !

I agree Dean, it is very frustrating. There are several film, TV & Sci-fi websites I peruse on a semi regular basis, and it is so difficult to avoid spoilers when a program aired like 8 months ago across the pond. I used to download a lot of films & shows a few years ago, but started panicking that I would get busted by my ISP for illegal downloads, so I keep it to a minimum these days.
