Had a Crap Day ... Rant Here

Oh god, most definitely! Dame joked the other day after my brother's wedding, "Phew, now I don't have to worry about having some horrible daughter-in-law" LOL!

Totally worn out at the moment, what with work (albeit today we couldn't get in), the run up to Christmas, the weather, I need 5 pairs of hand to do everything. Between the cooking, cleaning blah blah blah. The snow is making everything impossible, we have more tonight. The temperature dropped rapidly last night, about 20 miles from my folks it was recorded as - 18.7 C.

Sheesh!!! It's colder again today but not as cold as previously. I read we're supposed to be back up in the 70s for Xmas though, which sucks cuz we always have a warm and very humid Xmas!

Try watching some funny videos on youtube or reread some pix spam. It's quite entertaining! I need to get some new pix though...

I could do with some cheer but I'm just so tired from everything, looking forward to Boxing day when I can finally slow down.

I forgot to tell you yesterday that my HTC Android has been sent to the manufacturers as I have insurance on the mobile/cell phone. It started needing 5 hours to charge, lasting less than 6 hours battery life and not being able to send text messages. I checked no apps were running in the back ground to drain the battery but nothing. The store said something wasn't right and so I hope to get it back in January. They gave me a replacement phone which I hate so I found an old phone. I turned it on and pictures were still stored in it from 2004. It's a bit ancient but my last phone I have to my dad.

So do you still have your old phone? I'm sitting here at the hospital with my brother. He had to have 2 surgeries yesterday but he's fine now. Just waiting for the doctor to come in & say he can leave...

OMG seriously? What happened? I have my sim card in another phone, please send him our love. Keeping everything crossed for you here.

Everything's fine. We're finally back home now & he's zonked out on the couch. Thanks though.

Kinda but not really. We thought it was just a hernia (sp?) but after the ultrasound they found he also had a hypocele. Weird but whatever, it's taken care of now. Just gotta heal up & do the heck up appointments. He's ultra sore though & will be for a while.

Cool, tell him no dancing for at least a week.

He's supposed to be in a show this month but he might not make it.

Omg, wtf!?! Bill Maher is coming to Florida in May, which is awesome except for he's coming to Jacksonville, which is like a million miles from here!!!

Probably. He's so awesome. Anyway, guess who's for the flu, or least flu-like symptoms... I probably won't stay on that long tonight.

So I went back to the doctor's today and I have a variant of Swine Flu with asthma so kinda explains why I feel like crap. Will pop on when I feel okay but so sleepy at the moment.

Feel better Sam and Cougar you're the only healthy one here so look after the guys for us.

I don't know. That may be too much testosterone for me to handle. Boys!!!! Here I come!!!!

LOL! Well, the cold or whatever seems to be on its last leg. Just got a really dry & scratchy throat & only a slightly stuffy nose now. Finally!

It was Buzz's birthday yesterday and I wanted to come online but I had a bad turn last night and ended up with the doctor out. Turns out that the meds I had were not enough, had them all altered so now I'm taking tablets they only give out for Swine Flu and Anthrax !

I can honestly say I feel dreadful so apologies for being absent but I'm going back to bed.

Hope to come online when the meds kick in and feel better.

So how did your birthday go Buzz? I know you were working hard, any chance of a few drinks at the weekend to make up for it?

I wish I could drink for you but it looks like the whole of January will be a dry month. I missed New Year too so I plan on getting stonkingly drunk when I'm human once more.

How's your brother doing?

I had a lil get together that weekend at my friend's house so that was nice. You'll probably be human around St. Patty's Day, lol! Just the right time!

He's doing good, pretty much all back to normal. It hasn't hit him really yet that he'll be leaving in less than 3 months though, lol.

Where's he going?

He's moving with his husband to England in April.
