Totally random here but I got a Kindle with my Christmas money, its really great. I miss books but hoping as it stores on average 3,500 books I'll save space plus the Kindle books are a little cheaper than a paperback/softback.

Cool and then you don't have to lug around the books! Did you get some nifty sleek case for it too?

Anyone notice that the 'like's seem to keep fluctuating between 64 & 65? I know people aren't that flighty so what's the deal?

Yeah I got the case as it has a light which using the Kindle's battery so I can read in bed if I want.

I'm 3/4 of the way through, The Girl Who Played With Fire, the sequel to The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and then it's The Girl Who Kicked A Hornet's Nest.

I have found out I can buy used books on e-bay for next to nothing. It isn't really fair to the authors though I don't think. They don't get any money from used books do they? but hey! I'm broke. Sorry is all I got for ya today. When I win the lottery, I'll buy your stuff brand new.

True and I understand what you mean about having to be cautious with money. The money was a bonus from work and I'd wanted one for ages plus for me its about space we need some and books take up a lot of space.

I see Barnes and Noble are bring out the Nook which will allow you (USA only) to download from libraries.

So I am about to finish my 5 book in 2 weeks, not bad, no patience for the tv or computer at the moment.

So I was just on FB and I got a notice in Sorority Life that said I haven't 'pampered' my sweetheart in some time. Being that my sweetheart is a clone of Sam Winchester, my imagination went through the roof on that one...

Two things...
1) I went over to the fanfic section to find something and noticed something else. While there really hasn't been any replies to any of the subjects there (myself included), one particular subject has almost 1000 views. Seems really high for something with less than a dozen replies. LOL, guess which subject it is... Wincest! LOL, so that there ladies is the way to get more people to come visit our neck of the internet; we gotta write Wincest! Nah, but really, I thought it was funny.

Really see I should check out the stats, going to have to add to the stories for our viewers.

Well we can snurch away from other sites. I have no patience or brain power to write anything at the moment. I was at the start of a new SGA story which has been on hold now since the start of December.
