Seasons 1-2 Discussion... Contains Spoilers for 1-2

Yeah, I've been trying to get to New Orleans for Mardi Gras for forever. One of these years I'll make it.

I visited New Orleans for a week in 1997 I'd come down from a week in Seattle. I adored the place, it wasn't Mardi Gras but just after and the place was heaving.

Friendliest people I've ever met. I saw Van Morrison and Joan Baez at the Jazz Festival there too.

Sounds like a great time. See! I have no stories like that to tell. I have to experience things through yours and Sam's life experiences.

Eh.. No tears for me. I laid down and made them, and I love the pestaroos so i will deal. I had the opportunities for a much different life and chose the dumbass route so I'll just enjoy ya'll's stories.

Didn't even bother me when I thought you were talking about me. I was under the assumption we all know I'm broke as a joke. I've told you guys how terrible I am with money, and I'm being nice to myself. Trust!!

LOL, alrighty then! I'm so in the same boat. The only way I get stuff is by being really really frugal, cheap and having people return favors! Not having a boyfriend or a kid helps too.

Back to the subject though, you guys read the Sookie Stackhouse books? A friend of mine has and said they're better than the show but I don't know about that...

I heard that too but no I haven't.

I just don't have time to read, work, husband watch, come here etc to read a book too. Shameful isn't it

Me too. That's so bad cuz I do enjoy reading. There's just no time. And even if there was, I wouldn't want to start them until after the show was done & over with.

Sooo... I've been watching bits & parts of the 1st season and the beginning of the second season and I've got to amend some of my opinions. I actually like Sam now. He really does get crapped on all the time and he is such a nice guy. I still find his current storyline boring as hell and he does need to stand up for himself more but... yeah, he's aiight. I also find Eggs waaayy more attractive the second time around. His voice is to die for!
