Do any of you watch Bored To Death ? It just started airing over here and it's okay but I really like Ted Danson and Zach Galifianakis.

I haven't watched it. Ted Danson can be pretty funny though. Loved him on Cheers.

I liked Perfect Couples but only saw one or two episodes. The rest I've never seen so I'm good!

NBC have released some new shows. I like Christina Applegate and going by this trailer and having been that ill I may watch the new show "Up All Night" scroll down until you see the video. "Free Agents" looks okay too.

Anyone watch The Big C? That started up season 2 on Sunday. I adore Laura Linney and the show's pretty good. I am gonna watch the premiere tomorrow probably when I get home from work. And *cough, *cough, FYI if you haven't watched it... Mr. Elba is in several episodes of the first season looking fine as hell!

Hug We had a great friend of ours over since last week and he spent his time with us since last Wednesday. He lives in Columbus, Ohio and we only get to see him every 3 years or so. Spent the whole time trudging around London which I loved but by day 2 the crowds were getting to me.

We went to the Dr. Who exhibition in Olympia, London. I have to sort out the pictures but I doubt anyone here will be that interested not sure you watch it much in the States.

Just thought I would jump in this thread by stating some of the TV programs around that I like at the moment.

Smallville (although its the last series Sad ), True Blood (still waiting for season 4 *taps foot impatiently*), Hawaii Five-0, White Collar (waiting for season 3), Haven (waiting for season 2 - because I have an unhealthy obsession about Maine), Dexter ( need to catch up on season 5), Castle (god I miss Serenity), Supernatural, How I Met Your Mother, Teen Wolf (guilty pleasure - its a werewolf thing), Human Target, Big Bang Theory (these are my people), Torchwood, Dr Who, Blue Bloods (waiting on season 2), Boardwalk (waiting on season 2)

I thinks it off top of my head, although there is bound to be stuff I have forgot.

Summer tv huh, well lets see there is new show Necessary Roughness which I really like after on 2 episodes and it stars Mehcad Brooks aka Eggs from TB. I like Rizzoli & Isles season 2, Big C season 2, Weeds season 7, White Collar season 3, new show Switched At Birth is okay. Hot In Cleveland only for Betty White season 2, Leverage season 4 for Christian Kane only. Also TB of course.

New season of Torchwood is premiering tonight on BBC. I also just finished season 2 of Luther.

Anyone ever seen Burn Notice?

Madnad I love Supernatural bring on season 7 ! Haven I felt like it was too much like X-Files without the good bits but that's just me. My hubby loves Hawaii 5-O. Never got into Smallville, love HIMYM Barney rocks !

I never watched Burn Notice, but a mate has and I have only heard good things.

I can see what you mean about Haven, but it is a bit quirky and I love the lead (Lucas Bryant The TV Topic - Page 12 Love-smiley-076), and as I said, it fuels my Maine obsession.

Do you happen to have any idea when season 3 of White Collar is coming to UK? I cant wait Drooling Trio

I'm really naughty I watch the shows online so I've usually seen them by the time they've started here. I'd guess a year from when they started season 2.

Might check out Burn Notice but have a ton of things to catch up already and read, oh yeah and hubby !

Where's the obsession with Maine come from? Been to Boston and surrounding areas but not Maine.

Not sure really. I think it started when I was young (back in the stone age) reading all the Stephen King novels. I pretty much watch anything if it is set in Maine. I think the appeal is that its pretty underpopulated, has lovely beaches plus mountains, forests, and lakes. Its teeming with wildlife like bears, coyote, moose and the occasional wolf. Plus .... the weather is comparable to the UK, so I wont frazzle. I dont cope well in hot weather.

I love the architecture of the houses too. Its so bad, that I often browse property websites. Embarassed For a comparable price to my UK home, you can get one that is MAHOOSIVE, with a forest in your backyard, and a lake on your doorstep. It just seems to idyllic.

Might need to get a Maine obsession going on for myself.

If you want to share anything you could put it into the Vacations area which is in the Gutter Club thread as it's a place you want to go to.
