Never seen Modern Family.

So I didn't know where to put this really but I read earlier people are upset about a guy called Greg Giraldo having died today. I have no idea who this guy is but I just looked on You Tube and he's sorta funny. So RIP Mr. Giraldo.

Oh, he did die? I heard about him being in the hospital yesterday. That's too bad.

He was admitted with an overdose a few days earlier but died earlier today.

Yeah. That's a shame. What is it with comedians?



On a totally different TV note, I have officially started watching Modern Family. It's hilarious. I love it.

I watched the pilot couldn't get into it.

I'm about half way through the first season. My favorites are Phil & Cameron but everyone's really funny.

Doesn't do the show justice but it shows the comedic banter between my favourite 2 characters Jeff and Russell from Rules of Engagement.

A rapper dude? This was the show with the gay couple that adopted the baby & his sister's family & their father's family, right?

Phil's the blonde daughter's husband, the one trying to be the 'cool dad'. Cameron's the big gay guy who's too caring.

Yep Cameron was annoying, they brought the baby home and he did the big entrance thing. Phil the cool dad yep. They annoyed me, probably meant to. Maybe when most of my shows end or have a break I'll try another episode.

LOL, yeah, he did the Circle of Life song! I really like it, but it may just be one of those different country things that don't translate well also.

I must admit I struggled to associate anyone I know to it so maybe.

That makes perfect sense then. That's like those shows they play on BBC that people find entertaining and I'm just sitting there like

That in itself is pretty funny when it happens. Like, you're sitting there and everyone's bustin a gut and acting like they're watching/hearing comedic gold... and you're just sitting there trying desperately to figure out why it's so funny, like did you miss a part or what?

Have you seen The Office, well I find ours very funny because I know people like that and have been in an office situation with idiots like that, I didn't like the US version but then I guess people in the US prefer the Steve Carrol version.

Honestly, I've never watched an episode of either. I bet that would be a good one to do the comparison with b/c it's the same show.

Actually when the office was first shown on tv over here I actually thought it was a real documentary. Hubby said no you numpty it's a comedy show. I couldn't watch it at first as the character Ricky Gervais plays made me cringe, this was the characters intention but it's amazing how embarrassed you can feel watching tv.

OMG, I know right?!?!?!?! I hate when you watch a show and someone acts really badly or just delivers the line horribly and you actually feel embarassed for them. What is that, lol?

What's worse is if it's a film or show you've persuaded somebody else to watch with you and they look at you all "seriously dude?"
