Yes, I heard the dark haired chick gets killed off by some creature, and they're bringing in Jewel, and she's going to be Dean's love interest for the rest of the show.

Re: Season 6 Spoilers... Contains Spoilers for 1-6

Post by Dean on Mon Jul 26, 2010 11:06 pm

Firstly I have no intention of posting that dreadful Jensen picture, I'm sure his wife made him try that hairstyle. I don't bash wives but seriously, men don't experiment on their own. Daneel stop it please.

So here is the Jared Interview, it is the interview which is mentioned further below as (make sure you watch this video). I'm not sure how happy I am with all I've read and heard.

(This is from a LJ Community I belong to)

a_way_of_sin and I went through the Comic-Con round table and press interviews that were released throughout the night, looking for spoilers that weren't posted here yesterday. Here's what we found!

Note: Some are clarifications/expansions on previous information, but we figured they were worth posting!

Kripke: S6 will have a different feel. Grittier, more noir, lots of twists.

Jared: They're not nixing the religion stuff in the show, but now it's just a part of the of their lives/the story, not the whole story.

Jared: Sam and Dean aren't just fighting monsters, they're fighting the "alphas" of the monsters.

Edlund: Raphael still exists and is quite irritated from last year.

Sera: There's no way to return to the "youth" of the boys in S1&2; Sam and Dean are more like war-hardened veterans now.

Jared: In 6.01, Dean is upset Sam didn't tell him he was back and that he was in a lot of pain, reading every book trying to bring Sam back. Sam points out Dean promised he wouldn't dwell on Sam's death and says he shouldn't have broken his promise, and Dean's taken aback. But to Sam, taking Dean away from his new family is heartless. He wanted Dean to remain blissfully unaware. "They have some things to work out."

**** NOTE: I highly recommend watching the first 3 and a half minutes of the video for a lot of insight on Sam and Sam & Dean's reunion in S6! Jared goes on and on about it and it's quite interesting, albeit difficult to summarize (as you can see from the spoiler above and the one below this. lol.)

Jared: S6 Sam is kind of like S1 Dean. Sam is now more tactically driven than emotionally. (Shoot first, ask questions later; Accepts collateral damage; Makes decisions for the greater good.) He's not evil, but changed.

Edlund: Re: relationships -- Dean has a life and a marriage (note: not sure it's true as no one else said it, but Edlund uses the word in two different videos...) he's trying to protect, but Sam is in a different state: He comes out of hell "lighter", will "play the field" more than he ever has.

Sera: There are family members Sam and Dean knew nothing about (not the ones the YED killed!), they're "monster specialists" from a long line of hunters. They only work with each other.

Sera: It appears as though there's a parallel between Sam and Dean's situations in the S1 premiere and the S6 premiere, but under the surface things are not what they seem.

Edlund: Wrote 6.03, the episode Castiel returns.

Misha: Cas has something to do with all the monster activity, and so do Heaven and Hell. The season starts out very MOTW but everything ties together in a bigger arc.

Misha: Castiel's emotionally like an angel again, versus the more human Cas at the end of S5. But he's wiser about Earth now.

Misha: The friendship between Castiel and Dean will be more complicated, rife with difficulties.

Misha: Cas won't be the "sidekick" to Dean and Sam he was before. He has his own mission which runs parallel to the Winchesters' story, so he's not there exclusively to help them out.

Misha: The trenchcoat is back! No Cas makeover.

Misha: Cas is still a "fish out of water", the one-liners will be back.

Jim: 6.04 will have a "hot little Japanese demon" that Bobby fights. "She was tough."

Jensen: In 6.04 Dean has an emotional phone call with Bobby about Sam.

Funny panel clip.

Okay this is the last clip but the funny bit is Jensen explaining what he knows will happen and a fan shouts out about Dean, "He tucks in his shirt" causing the guys to laugh. Later he states about his shirt tucked in and the women ask for him to take it off, Jim says "It always comes down to that with you" or something cute.

Jensen looked really cute talking. I love how he frowns up a little when he's talking. Yeah, you've been saying that about Lisa all the time.

didn't watch all of the videos but some of them. Will come back to finish them. Thanks.

I so want to get you one of those hats. You have really taken that word to heart. It will probably eventually be the 'indeed' of Supernatural. I like his shirt, but it makes me want a cigarette. Reporter was trying to get him to admit about what's been happening with Dean. Can't wait for 4 then.

Re: Season 6 Spoilers... Contains Spoilers for 1-6

Post by Dean on Mon Aug 02, 2010 10:46 pm

LMAO at the latest spoiler. Apparently this is from Sera Gamble.

Hold on to your Vervain and copies of Twilight, fangbangers. Supernatural is about to have some fun with your favorite vein-drainers. "We're doing an episode about how vampires pretending to be Edward Cullen or the Salvatore brothers or Bill Compton are bad for you," Supernatual showrunner Sera Gamble tells TV Guide Magazine.

At the CW/Showtime/CBS party during the annual Television Critics Association press tour, the creepy drama's exec producer revealed that one of Season 6's upcoming episodes (tentatively titled "Live Free or Twi-Hard") will take fans' ongoing obsession with undead hotties and hand it to Dean and Sam for a little skewering. "There's a mythology reason [as to why] we are revisiting a lot of monsters we've dealt with before on the show...including vampires," says Gamble. "And when we were conceptualizing a vampire episode, we thought, 'Wow there's never been a better time to be a vampire.' Chicks are just throwing themselves at them! They think that 'vampire' equals 'I'm not going to try to have sex with you.'" Of course, in a world where vamps actually exist, that kind of thinking can get you killed. Or worse. "They will still take advantage of our children! They will turn you into a vampire or eat you." Maybe if that original title doesn't fly, they can go with "There Will Be True Blood."

HA HA HA HA I so want to see this episiode !!!!

Shades of gray in the 'noir' new season of 'Supernatural'

In a recent interview with "Supernatural" executive producer and showrunner Sera Gamble, two words stood out: "family" and "noir."

"There are a lot of shades of gray that we're playing with this season," Gamble said.

I spoke to Gamble Wednesday at the CBS/CW/Showtime party at the Television Critics Association summer press tour, and toward the end of our brief chat, she referenced film noir fare such as "L.A. Confidential."

"It lends a different kind of gritty darkness because the heroes in those stories are not pure white hats," she noted.

Sam and Dean Winchester defeated Lucifer last season, but now that "chapter" of the story told in Seasons 1 through 5 is done, the brothers will face a new set of challenges -- some internal, some external. And as they grapple with their complicated relationship, they'll also learn more about their mother's side of the family when Season 6 gets underway on the CW Sept. 24.

As Gamble, the cast and creator Eric Kripke discussed at Comic-Con a week ago, in Season 6, Sam and Dean will be back to hunting monsters of the week, but there will be a season-long story arc as well. (Look here and here for more on "Supernatural" at Comic-Con.)

On Wednesday, Gamble talked a bit about the returning guest stars we'll see in Season 6, and also about the key roles played in Season 6 by Corin Nemec and Jessica Heafey. Don't read on unless you want to see some teasers/spoilers for the new season.

Can you talk a bit about about where things stand at the start of the season?

"We have some mythology to set up in the first few episodes. We wrapped up this five-year arc, so we have some setting up do, some resetting to do. And we did this one-year jump so we have to catch up with the boys."

So for a year, Dean thought Sam was dead, or locked in a cage in Hell?

"Yeah, [he thought] that was it. There's no way to get your brother out of the cage at the bottom of the lowest depths of the ninth circle of the worst bit of Hell."

When Eric Kripke did interviews at Comic-Con, he said there was still going to be conflict between the brothers. That got the fans talking a bit, sort of like, "Really? More conflict?"

"There's never not been conflict between the brothers. [It's been there] from Day 1."

But what's the nature of the conflict? Is it brother against brother or are they fractious while they fight a common enemy?

"It's about the fact that they have grown and changed, and these characters, who when we met when they were very young, have matured a tremendous amount and changed a tremendous amount. It's about them figuring out how they can be together the way that they are now and how they can work together."

Eric was talking at the Comic-Con panel about the the fact that they really began to accept each other and that's what sort of saved the world at the end of Season 5. So is there more work to be done there?

"I wouldn't say there's more work to be done, I would say there's a different set of circumstances for each of them. We very consciously skipped ahead, because they had been sort of nose to nose for a long time, since Season 4. What we needed to do was get some distance between them, get some personal history for each of them -- some new stuff, some new things to play for each of them. So they have new conflict, new circumstances, new stuff."

You've got some new and returning characters in Season 6, right? Can you talk a little bit about that?

"Mitch [Pileggi returning] is the big news, we love him.

"Corin Nemec is a hunter [from the Campbell side of the family], he's a recurring character. The Campbells [Mary Winchester's family] have been hunters for a long time. Some hunters are comparatively well-adjusted -- they didn't become hunters because they watched their sister get her face ripped off in front of them when they were 10. They were born into it, sort of like Mary Campbell [Winchester] was. That's not quite so psychotic so close to the surface. We're interested in that side of the family."

And there's a female Campbell who'll be in the new season as well, right?

"She's played by a Canadian actress, Jessica Heafey, and she's been fantastic so far. [Heafey plays Gwen, a character we meet in the first episode of Season 6]. And we've been bringing back monsters that are familiar, and Crowley [Mark Sheppard] is back.

"Misha is a series regular of course. Castiel is a full-powered angel and Heaven is in bad shape. Misha had this dry way of describing it as [Yeltsin in the post-Soviet Union era], but I think it's more like early days Obama, trying to rally people toward a new way of thinking, which is the Sam and Dean way of thinking. He's got his hands full and still has a deep personal bond with Sam and Dean and wants to help them. And there are specific things that come up about Sam and Dean that he is very interested in, so you'll see him early in the season."

What's interesting about this new part of the journey? Eric has talked about the Winchesters' path as sort of a Hero's Journey, what's new or different about where they are on that journey?

"There's a lot of different kinds of Heroes' Journeys. We talked a lot about Joseph Campbell for a lot of years, we talked about Steven Spielberg movies, we talked a lot about 'The Lord of the Rings' in the [writers] room.

We [also] watch a lot of noir movies. I'm a huge noir fan, Bob Singer are huge noir fans. Eric loves this stuff too. It lends a different kind of gritty darkness because the heroes in those stories are not pure white hats.

"If you think of 'L.A. Confidential,' if you think about Sam and Dean together being like a Bud White or being like a Bud White…. Bud White beats people up. He has anger management problems. He drinks too much. But he's a hero. The fact that he is moral is a problem. The other sort of hero in that story has a sort of moral relativism.

"There are a lot of shades of gray that we're playing with this season, in terms of the kind of heroes we're interested in."

(you know the drill, I'm not hanging out on here but I read something I thought interesting)...

I read on imdb that Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger) is going to be on an upcoming episode. I didn't read the fine print in case it had spoilers, but that should be interesting!

I saw that and I was really pleased I actually didn't read the whole article as I am really trying to be good this season.

I did read a lot of people want Stephen King or James Herbet to appear. Herbert wouldn't work but he is really strange in real life.
