Alrighty, saw a few new ones. First up is You, Again. Here's the trailer...
https://youtu.be/S1-UMzt9e34

I mainly saw this because I really like the main cast but knew the movie wouldn't be spectacular. Turns out I was exactly right. It was cute, but glad I didn't see it in the theater. Actually one of the funniest bits on the DVD was this extra...
https://youtu.be/RGimJFHxHJM

Sigourney Weaver is like my favorite actress. You know who is also in the movie for about 5 minutes... The Rock! Looking sexy as hell, lol!

Oh yeah, and AVATAR!!!!

Yeah it looks fun to watch at home but not one for the cinema. Will definitely take a look when it shows up here.

Loved the cast fight, "Avatar, Avatar, Alien !" LMAO

Jeezy creezy, I haven't been staying up to date with my movie reviews!!!!

X-Men: First Class - Another free preview and wow, am I glad I went to see this! I wasn't expecting much out of it cuz of the whole idea of the reboot. Figured it was gonna be like Saved By the Bell but with mutant students running around Professor X's mansion instead of Bayside High. Then I saw the full length trailer and got a bit intrigued..
https://youtu.be/UrbHykKUfTM
With the exception of one or two little quips about SFX & makeup, I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. The two leads, James McAavoy (sp?) as Charles & and Michael Fassbender as Erik were great, totally got into them. And, even though I've seen him in several other films & always thought he was a good actor, am now adding Mr. Fassbender to my 'not exactly what I find hot but somehow extremely sexy' category, lol! If you guys get the chance to see it, go, you'll enjoy!

This one was entertaining if a bit implausible. I like all the leads and they all performed really well. Wasn't this based on a true story that happened a few years back? I kinda remember but not really. The one thing that annoyed the crap out of me with this one was that whenever they would cut to an ominous shot of the train they'd have this loud sound effect that kinda gave off the impression that the train was roaring. It was really distracting lol!

Ok, I saw like five other movies but my attention span is minimal so I'm gonna go comment elsewhere and eventually get back to this...

Ok, I finally saw Despicable Me this weekend. I liked it. Very cute & I did actually LOL at some parts. I was kinda pissy that they are taking out the Jimmy Neutron ride in Universal Studios to bring in a new Despicable Me ride but now after seeing the movie, I've made my peace with it. LOL!

I also finally saw Country Strong. You might remember me talking about this one late last year. Looked pretty sappy and Lifetime-channelish and well, it was. I think Tim McGraw is so adorable though. I never really bought Gwyneth Paltrow in her role as the troubled country music superstar. Alright, let's get to the main reason why I watched it (I'm such sap)... Garrett Hedlund!

Guys, I dare you to watch this movie and not find him somehow attractive. Hell, he was wearing a cowboy hat and singing country songs and I was still into it! He's got great eyes and just, I don't know, I just find him really appealing! When 's his next movie coming out? (Runs off to IMDb)

Hubby bought me Despicable Me on dvd and I loved the little yellow workers ! Definitely a good family movie.

I can't abide Gwyneth Paltrow, I will see it on cable to see Garrett but I won't go to it. Did you put your cowboy boots on to watch it?

I do not nor have I ever owned a pair of cowboy boots. LOL! Yeah, i got it from Netflix cuz I definitely couldn't justify going to the movies for it! Honestly though, he was like the one good thing about the movie and I'd say that even if I weren't totally attracted to him. I was trying to find a clip on youtube and they have them, but not with the video of him singing and stuff. Just a bunch of damn slideshows...

His main character in his books is Lincoln Rhyme. I think Angelina Jolie was in it too, the film was okay but the book blew me away. Loved it.

Did I say but I watched Paul last night with the fabulous Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Jason Bateman and Seth Rogan doing the voice of Paul the Alien. I really loved this, very funny and doesn't take itself too seriously.

I'd recommend it.

It was on Sky Box Office here so I'd assume not far off it definitely worth it. Red box it? Or Netflix?

Probably Netflix cuz with Redbox, they charge you $1 every night you have it. Netflix you pay a flat monthly rate and keep movies how long or short you want.

That's so annoying. Netflix is about to do a price hike, so I gotta see if it still makes sense to get it...

Going tonight to see Harry Potter and I absolutely cannot wait!!!
